Explain how a decree may be preliminary or the final?

A decree is preliminary when further proceedings have to be taken before completely disposal of the suit. It is however, final when such adjudication completely disposes of the suit. In such a situation a decree may be partially preliminary or the final.

Whether decree includes rejection of plaint?

With reference to section 2(1), a decree includes a rejection of plaint. There is abundant case law on the point that the order as to rejection of plaint is itself decree; whilst some couts say that the decree is separately drawn as per section 2(1) of the code
